Vested Search are excited to partner with a globally established hedge fund who are looking to hire a newly created tax position in their NY HQ
This role will report directly to the Global Head of Tax and run tax work streams across partnership and compliance alongside external service providers, with responsibilities for both US and international tax projects
Responsibilities will include:
- Book-to-tax reconciliations and partnership allocations
- Investor tax estimates, K-1s, PFIC statements, and tax returns for funds and management company/GP vehicles
- AEOI reporting (i.e., FATCA & CRS), as well 1065 and 8865, 5472, and 5472
- Entity Formation and Tax Provisioning
- Tax payments
- Tax notices
- Partner with finance, operations, legal, investments, and treasury functions to implement process and control.
Applicants should be CPA qualified and have between 2-7 years experience in public accounting /industry servicing the financial services industry on the above tax areas.
