Responsibilities- The Head of Insurance will be responsible for leading and executing the strategy for Insurance globally.
- Driving investment sales by delivering and positioning in the region Citi Private Bank’s Managed Investments offering and platform.
- Designing and executing a holistic business strategy for the Insurance offering.
- Leading and coordinating with internal product partners, bankers, and investment counselors on various sales efforts across investment products and solutions.
- Working together with the global team on product and distribution development, demand assessment, and product management.
- Deliver the Insurance Revenue and AUM plan for the region.
- Lead and motivate a group of Specialists for regional and product coverage.
- Develop, drive, and innovate Regional/Global Initiatives.
- Responsible for partnering with members of the Investments Leadership Team and Market Executives for effective delivery of messages and services and to drive strategic priorities.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive knowledge of complex products and actively participate in client and prospect meetings.
- Work closely with internal partners (IC, Bankers) to help them grow their investments business.
- Interact effectively with functional partners across the organization (Legal, Compliance, IPR, Research and Due Diligence, etc.).
- Actively participate in the various Regional Sales Calls.
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm’s reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients, and assets by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations; adhering to Policy; applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct, and business practices; and escalating, managing, and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervising the activity of others and creating accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.
- 15+ years of experience; 15+ years industry experience with focus on Insurance.
- Series 7, Series 24.
- Solid track record of sales achievements and skills.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and team-building skills.
- Ability to travel extensively throughout the region.
- Experience in delivering high-quality service to UHNW/Corporate Clients.
- Advanced Degree (MBA, CFA, CAIA).
- Fluency in a foreign language is desirable.
- Bachelor’s/University degree;
Master’s degree preferred.
