Senior Operations Analyst

Our client, a well-known financial institution in New York, NY, is looking to add a Senior Operations Associate to their team! This position was created due to the new SEC Treasury clearing mandate requiring expanded central clearing of U.S. Treasury trades. Responsibilities of this position include supporting Treasury cash and repo settlement activity, interfacing with FICC clearing workflows, and managing collateral and margin processes.

The ideal candidate will come from a banking or broker-dealer operations background with fixed income product exposure and strong technical skills.

• Supporting Treasury and repo trade settlement across clearing platforms
• Interfacing with FICC clearing workflows, including margin and netting processes
• Managing delivery versus payment (DVP) settlement mechanics and collateral movements
• Coordinating with clearing banks such as BNY Mellon on cash and security movements
• Utilizing Broadridge Impact for trade processing, confirmations, and settlement matching
• Reconciling breaks and resolving fails across Treasury transactions
• Leveraging Excel to build reconciliations, track clearing activity, and analyze data

• At least three years of fixed income experience within a bank or broker-dealer
• Understanding of FICC and central clearing mechanics
• Experience with BNY settlement workflows and repo processing
• Strong Excel skills including pivot tables and lookup functions
• Experience with Broadridge Impact strongly preferred
• Exposure to Calypso is a plus
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
