VP, Investments - Insurance

We’re partnering with a prominent firm in the insurance space that is looking to add a VP to their Investments team. This role offers the opportunity to directly influence portfolio strategy, M&A analysis, and investment decision-making across multiple asset classes.

As VP of Investments, you will work closely with the Regional CIO to:

• Monitor and optimize regional investment portfolios, ensuring alignment with strategic and tactical allocation objectives while operating within regulated insurance constraints.
• Construct optimal portfolios and yield projections to support M&A pricing and strategic investment decisions.
• Generate new strategic and tactical ideas to enhance portfolio performance.

• 8+ years of experience in insurance company asset management.
• Deep knowledge of investment management, portfolio construction, strategic and tactical asset allocation, and capital markets.
• Experience with external managers across fixed income, public/private equity, real estate, alternative assets, and other specialized investments.
• Strong quantitative, analytical, and communication skills; ability to influence decision-making at all levels.
• Technical proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and financial data systems (Bloomberg). Knowledge of SQL, VBA, Python, and Power
  
  BI is a plus.
