Tax Associate​/Senior Associate

Company Overview

A global investment management firm with over $20 billion in assets under management, specializing in credit investment strategies, is seeking a Tax Associate / Senior Associate to join their team. The role will focus on tax compliance, strategy, and risk management for both private funds and the management company.

• Collaborate with external administrators, tax service providers, and internal groups to manage tax information for fund entities and SPVs.
• Review and prepare tax returns, K‑1s, and other filings.
• Prepare periodic fund tax estimates and accruals.
• Research and document tax policies for new fund strategies.
• Prepare and review calculations for ASC 740 and transfer pricing.
• Maintain organizational work papers and filing documents.
• Assist in NYC UBT, NYS, and NYC PTET estimate calculations and filings.
• Assist with quarterly CRT and Sales & Use tax returns.
• Review foreign sub‑advisor tax returns and transfer pricing.
• Work on special projects to mitigate tax risk.

• 2‑5 years of asset management tax experience within a Big Four or top mid‑tier public accounting firm and/or private industry.
• CPA required.
• Knowledge of credit funds and their relevant tax issues is a plus.

Salary: $110,000 – $130,000, plus bonus.
