A leading global alternative credit platform is seeking a motivated and analytical Valuations Analyst to join its Asset Management team. This role will support the continued development of the firm’s internal valuation function across its private credit platform. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Support the quarterly valuation process across private credit investments
- Build and maintain valuation models; perform detailed financial analysis
- Review third-party valuation reports and reconcile to internal assumptions
- Partner with investment teams to gather portfolio data and key inputs
- Prepare valuation memos and supporting documentation for committees and auditors
- Assist with process improvements as the valuation function is internalized
- Handle ad hoc reporting and analysis for senior leadership
- In-office 4x/week in either New York City or Chicago
- 1+ years of experience in audit (with valuation exposure), third-party valuation, or in-house valuation
- Credit valuation experience preferred but not required
