Associate Manager - Hedge Fund Accounting

SS&C Technologies is seeking an Associate Manager to support hedge fund accounting operations in the East Coast Region. The position is hybrid with opportunities in NYC, Union, NJ, and Boston, MA.

• Prepare a variety of fund reports for clients including cash forecasts, Net Asset Value (NAV), yields, distributions, reconciliation, and other fund accounting output.
• Update and review trading, general ledger activity, and pricing of funds.
• Prepare and reconcile trial balances for assigned funds and reconcile fund records to custodians and transfer agents.
• Review complex investments and/or funds which may include international, fixed income, or derivatives securities.
• Lead first‑level professionals on issues of a diverse scope and coordinate department activities.
• Exercise wide latitude to make decisions within established company policies to meet business objectives.

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.
• Master’s degree is a plus.
• Experience with hedge funds or fund of funds.
• 4–6 years of experience as a hedge fund accountant or auditor of hedge funds.
• 2+ years supervising or managing a team.
• Ideal candidate has experience at an audit firm, fund or bank, and as an administrator.
• Strong Excel skills (Pivot Table, Sumif, V‑lookup).
• Knowledge of Geneva and/or Advent software is a plus.
