Your role and responsibilities

The IBM Finance Organization is responsible for driving enterprise performance and efficiency. We are the financial stewards of the enterprise delivering IBM's financial strategy with consistency, integrity and transparency.

We are currently seeking to fill internship positions in the areas of Financial Planning. This program is a full-time role for six months starting June 1, 2026 through December 2026. We require candidates hired for this program commit to employment for the full 6 month term. This is an office-based position for our office location in Armonk, NY.

Finance & Operations partners across all of IBM teams to modernize financial platforms, data, and processes, while providing balanced analysis, forecasts, and strategic recommendations. This internship provides hands-on experience supporting financial systems, analytics, automation, and AI initiatives that improve cash flow visibility, risk management, and operational efficiency. Interns will work alongside finance and technology leaders to deliver real solutions that support enterprise-scale financial decision‑making.

Key skills gained through this internship include:

* Financial process analysis across Finance workflows
- Software, Hardware, Consulting, and Treasury/Financing

* Data analytics and reporting to support financial insights and performance tracking

* Real world application of enterprise level AI and automation applied to core finance operations

* Experience with enterprise financial platforms and application delivery

* Stakeholder collaboration across Finance, Operations, and Technology teams
