Senior Wealth Advisor – Wealth Management Platform Leadership

A nationally recognized professional services firm with an established Registered Investment Advisor (RIA) platform is seeking a Senior Wealth Advisor to serve in a leadership capacity for its Wealth Management division in New York.
This individual will play a pivotal role in building, leading, and expanding the wealth management platform
, with a focus exclusively on ultra-high-net-worth (UHNW) individuals, families, trusts, and family entities
.
The role combines client leadership, business development, team mentorship, and strategic platform growth. This is an opportunity to influence direction, scale a division, and help shape the long-term vision of the wealth advisory practice within a fiduciary, relationship-driven environment.
Position SummaryThe Senior Wealth Advisor will serve as a senior leader of the New York wealth management platform, acting as a primary advisor to UHNW clients while driving strategic growth initiatives.
This role requires a professional who can:
- Lead complex UHNW client relationships
- Generate and transition significant assets
- Develop COI channels and referral ecosystems
- Mentor and recruit advisory talent
- Partner closely with firm leadership to scale the platform
- Serve as lead advisor to UHNW individuals, multigenerational families, trusts, and family entities
- Develop and execute strategic growth initiatives for the New York wealth management platform
- Build, maintain, and transition a book of business
- Drive new asset growth through COI relationships, referrals, and strategic networking
- Oversee and manage an active sales pipeline
- Mentor and develop advisors and support staff
- Participate in recruiting and expansion of the advisory team
- Collaborate across advisory disciplines to deliver sophisticated, integrated financial plans
- Foster a culture of accountability, integrity, and high performance
- Contribute to the long-term strategic vision of the wealth management division
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or related field
- Series 65 required
- 10+ years of wealth management experience
- Demonstrated leadership within a wealth advisory or private wealth environment
- Proven success in building, growing, and transitioning a book of business
- Extensive experience advising UHNW clients and complex family structures
- Strong business development and asset‑gathering track record
- Ability to lead, mentor, and develop advisory professionals
- High emotional intelligence, integrity, and fiduciary mindset
- Strong executive presence and decision‑making ability
- Experience with in an RIA or independent advisory platform
- Established COI network in the New York market
- Insurance licensing a plus
- Leadership influence within a growing wealth management division
- Backing of a nationally recognized professional services firm
- Fiduciary RIA structure
