Senior Accountant

We’re working with a profitable, founder-led crypto trading and technology firm in NYC that is building out its in-house finance function.

This is not a back-office reporting role.

You’ll sit close to trading activity, own digital asset accounting workflows, and play a key part in shaping how finance operates as the business scales. If you’ve worked in a crypto trading firm or supported digital asset clients and want more ownership and real impact — this is that move.

As Senior Accountant, you will:

• Lead month-end close and US GAAP financial reporting
• Own crypto transaction accounting, wallet reconciliations, and digital asset tracking
• Manage multi-entity accounting across jurisdictions
• Oversee fiat operations (banking, payments, reconciliations)
• Build and improve processes as trading volumes grow
• Partner with external tax and accounting advisors
• Support the transition from outsourced to a fully in-house finance function

You’ll have meaningful visibility with leadership and direct exposure to trading operations.

• 5+ years in accounting, audit, or controllership roles
• Strong US GAAP knowledge
• Multi-entity accounting experience
• Hands-on crypto accounting experience (required)
• Wallet reconciliations
• Digital asset transaction tracking
• Understanding of how crypto accounting differs from traditional finance
• Comfortable in fast-moving, evolving environments
• CPA preferred
• Big 4 + crypto client exposure highly relevant

Salary: $150,000 – $250,000 + bonus + benefits
