Midtown Manhattan, New York City (fully on-site, Monday–Friday, 9:30 AM–6:00 PM)

Job Description
  • Review borrower credit reports and support background/public record research (liens, judgments, bankruptcies, UCC filings)
  • Assist with cash flow analysis using bank statements, P&Ls, balance sheets, and tax returns
  • Support senior underwriters and analysts on credit reviews and more complex files
  • Learn and apply internal credit policy, documentation standards, and risk guidelines
  • Prepare clear credit summaries/memos for internal review and approval
  • Help maintain strong file quality by organizing documentation and ensuring completeness and accuracy
  • Communicate questions clearly to internal stakeholders to resolve missing or unclear financial details
Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree in finance, accounting, economics, business, or related field (or near completion)
  • Proficiency in Excel (formulas, filters, lookups, basic functions)
  • Strong interest in lending, underwriting, credit risk, and financial diligence
  • High attention to detail, strong organization, and comfort working in a fast-paced environment
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills
