CLO Middle Office Associate

A leading, fast‑growing hedge fund is looking to hire a high‑calibre Operations professional to work closely with the CLO Operations Manager. This is a front‑facing, high‑impact role, working directly with the PM on a daily basis.

You will support the end‑to‑end operations of the firm’s CLO platform and be a key point of contact between the PM, internal teams and external counter parties. The role is hands‑on and broad, with strong exposure to the investment process and as such, the compensation package will be highly competitive.

• Act as the day‑to‑day right hand to the CLO Operations Manager across all CLO life‑cycle events.
• Work closely with the PM on trade support, allocations, and resolving trade and position breaks in a time‑sensitive environment.
• Oversee cash and position reconciliations across trustees, administrators, custodians and internal systems.
• Support CLO warehousing, new issue and reset/refi processes, including coordination with arrangers, trustees, lawyers and administrators.
• Own and enhance BAU processes around loan settlements, paydowns, rollovers, restructurings and corporate actions.
• Produce and review reporting for the PM, risk, IR and senior management, ensuring data accuracy and timeliness.
• Contribute to process improvement and automation, including working with technology to refine tools and dashboards.

• 4–8 years’ experience in CLO operations, structured credit operations, or syndicated loan operations at a hedge fund, asset manager, CLO manager or leading bank.
• Deep understanding of CLO structures, documentation and life‑cycle events, or strong leveraged loan / structured credit operations experience with a clear desire to specialise in CLOs.
• Solid exposure to reconciliations, cash management, trade support and life‑cycle processing (paydowns, rollovers, amendments, restructurings, corporate actions).
