Job Description
What is the opportunity?
When companies need to raise equity capital - whether through an IPO, a follow‑on offering or a Convertible - ECM is at the center of it. As an Associate on our Equity Capital Markets desk, you'll sit at the intersection of Investment Banking, Sales & Trading, and the equity markets, helping corporate clients access capital at the right time and on the right terms.
What will you do?- Support the origination and execution of equity transactions (including IPOs, Follow‑Ons, Block Trades, Convertible Bonds, etc.)
- Build and maintain market intelligence tools including ECM transaction databases, comp offering analyses, valuation benchmarks and investor demand trackers
- Draft pitchbooks, market update presentations and deal roadshow materials
- Monitor equity market conditions daily and synthesize trading dynamics, sector flows and investor sentiment into actionable client advice
- Be part of a team coordinating across Origination, Syndicate, Sales and Trading to market, price and allocate transactions
- Interface with legal, compliance and external counsel on transaction execution
- Prepare thought pieces on ECM market trends for internal and client‑facing use
- Undergraduate Degree
- Sharp quantitative skills - comfort in Excel and Power Point
- Strong written and verbal communication; ability to distill complex market dynamics into a clear narrative
- Attention to detail, strong work ethic, ability to manage competing deadlines

The expected salary range for this particular position is $175,000 - $225,000, depending on your experience, skills, and registration status, market conditions and business needs.
