Job Title

Senior Finance Manager

What does a successful Senior Finance Manager do at Fiserv?

As a Senior Finance Manager, you will serve as an individual contributor who drives month‑end close, reporting, and analysis across our business. You partner with Accounting, financial planning and analysis (FP&A), and business leaders to build models and dashboards that surface trends, risks, and opportunities. Your work equips executive management with timely, decision‑ready insights that improve performance and inform resource allocation.

What

you'll do:
  • Own month‑end close deliverables, support the financial close, and prepare standard and ad‑hoc analyses of results.
  • Engage in business partnership to develop and drive in‑depth financial analysis, identifying key drivers, trends, variances, emerging risks and opportunities.
  • Enhance monthly reporting/dashboards and other in‑depth financial analysis to assist executive management in making operational decision‑making.
  • Develop and apply a comprehensive understanding of existing financial reporting and forecast models; provide recommendations and implement solutions to improve efficiency, accuracy, and level of detail.
Experience you'll need to have:
  • 4+ years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or accounting, supporting month‑end close, variance analysis, and executive reporting in an enterprise environment.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, XLOOKUP, Power Query) and data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau; familiarity with SQL or similar query language.
  • Experience building driver‑based financial models and forecasts and delivering actionable insights to non‑finance stakeholders.
  • Experience enhancing reporting and dashboards and standardizing processes to reduce cycle time in close and planning activities.
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
Experience that would be great to have:
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) certification.
  • Master's degree (MBA or MS in Finance).
  • Experience automating reporting with SQL or Python or similar object‑oriented language.
  • Experience in financial services or payments.
How you'll work:
  • This role is on‑site Monday through Friday. Fiserv considers in‑person collaboration to be an essential part of this role as in‑person office experiences help you with your overall onboarding experience and lead to stronger productivity.
  • This role requires use of a computer and audio equipment.
Sponsorship:
  • You must currently possess valid and unrestricted U.S. work authorization to be considered for this role. Individuals with temporary visas including, but not limited to, F‑1 (OPT, CPT, STEM), H‑1B, H‑2, or TN, or any candidate requiring sponsorship, now or in the future, will not be considered for this role.
Benefits at Fiserv:
  • Fuel Your Life program to support your physical, financial, social, and emotional well‑being.
  • Paid holidays and generous time‑away policies.
  • No‑cost mental health support through Employee Assistance Programs.
  • Living Proof program to recognize your peers' extra effort with points redeemable for rewards.
  • Eight Employee Resource Groups to foster a collaborative culture and expand your network.
  • Unparalleled professional growth with training, development, and internal mobility opportunities.
  • Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance options available from day one.
  • Retirement planning and discounted shares with the Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
  • Tuition assistance and reimbursement program.
  • Paid parental, caregiver, and military leave.
