Tax Partner - Financial Services

The Tax Partner, Financial Services is a senior leadership role responsible for delivering strategic tax advisory and compliance services to financial services clients, including private equity, hedge funds, and investment vehicles. This position combines client leadership, technical expertise, and business development while mentoring and growing high-performing tax teams.

• Serve as a trusted tax advisor to financial services clients, providing planning, structuring, and compliance support.
• Lead and oversee complex tax engagements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Identify and mitigate tax risks while staying ahead of legislative and regulatory changes impacting the industry.
• Build and expand client relationships, identifying new business opportunities and cross-selling services.
• Drive business development through proposals, client pitches, and industry networking.
• Lead, mentor, and develop directors and tax professionals, fostering a collaborative and performance-driven culture.
• Contribute to practice strategy, thought leadership, and overall growth initiatives.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA preferred.
• 12+ years of progressive tax experience within the financial services industry.
• Strong background supporting private equity, hedge funds, and investment entities.
• Proven leadership, client management, and business development capabilities.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and relationship-building skills.

• $220,000 – $500,000+, commensurate with experience and book of business.
