Senior Analyst - Private Funds Group

Venture Search is partnered with a high-performing Private Funds Group, who are looking for an Analyst 2/3 to join their team in NYC. Candidates must have experience in Investment Banking, with a strong understanding of the placement agent space. Candidates who have previous experience from a PFG/Placement Agent can also be considered for an Associate position.

• Support fundraising project management across private equity, private credit, real assets, and related strategies.
• Prepare investor marketing materials including private placement memoranda, due diligence questionnaires, and investor presentations.
• Build and maintain detailed financial models, track records, and fund performance analyses.
• Coordinate due diligence processes with fund managers and investors.
• Conduct market research on private markets, comparable funds, and investor activity.
• Assist in managing internal project workflows to ensure timely and efficient execution.
• Oversee Analysts on the team.

• A minimum of 1.5 years of experience in IB, with a preference for Financial Sponsors, M&A, ECM or Lev Fin experience. Experience working at a PFG/Placement Agent is highly preferable, but not essential.
• Bachelors degree from a strong university.
• An understanding of PE is essential.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple work streams in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical mindset.
