Job DescriptionOur client is seeking a detail-oriented
Financial Analyst
to work closely with the CFO and HR Manager across accounting, payroll, budgeting, and financial reporting functions. This is an excellent opportunity for a junior- to mid-level finance or accounting professional who wants to be a key contributor to the team, grow their skills, work closely with senior leadership, and gain broad exposure to finance operations in a collaborative environment.
You’ll play a key role in supporting the organization’s financial health through accurate processing, reporting, and operational support.
What You’ll Do
Accounting & Financial Operations
- Process invoices and prepare vendor payments
- Identify and track expense allocations
- Perform account reconciliations (bank, investment, and other accounts)
- Process accounts receivable and assist with collections
- Support month-end and year-end close processes
- Assist with regulatory filings (1099s, Form 990)
- Support annual audit activities
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning
Payroll & HR Support
- Review biweekly payroll reports for accuracy and reconciliation
- Track PTO usage and maintain payroll records in ADP
- Assist with commuter, insurance, and benefit reimbursement tracking
- Cross-train with HR on payroll and benefits processes
- Support special projects and ad hoc initiatives
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field preferred
- 3 + years of financial or accounting experience
- Strong Excel skills and comfort working with data
- Understanding of GAAP
- Experience with Quick Books, ADP, or Power BI is a plus
- High attention to detail and analytical mindset
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism
