Job Description

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented
Financial Analyst
to work closely with the CFO and HR Manager across accounting, payroll, budgeting, and financial reporting functions. This is an excellent opportunity for a junior- to mid-level finance or accounting professional who wants to be a key contributor to the team, grow their skills, work closely with senior leadership, and gain broad exposure to finance operations in a collaborative environment.

You’ll play a key role in supporting the organization’s financial health through accurate processing, reporting, and operational support.
What You’ll Do

Accounting & Financial Operations

  • Process invoices and prepare vendor payments
  • Identify and track expense allocations
  • Perform account reconciliations (bank, investment, and other accounts)
  • Process accounts receivable and assist with collections
  • Support month-end and year-end close processes
  • Assist with regulatory filings (1099s, Form 990)
  • Support annual audit activities
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning

Payroll & HR Support

  • Review biweekly payroll reports for accuracy and reconciliation
  • Track PTO usage and maintain payroll records in ADP
  • Assist with commuter, insurance, and benefit reimbursement tracking
  • Cross-train with HR on payroll and benefits processes
  • Support special projects and ad hoc initiatives

What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field preferred
  • 3 + years of financial or accounting experience
  • Strong Excel skills and comfort working with data
  • Understanding of GAAP
  • Experience with Quick Books, ADP, or Power BI is a plus
  • High attention to detail and analytical mindset
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism
