Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Associate to join our Operations team. The successful candidate will support the team in ensuring smooth and efficient middle to back-office processes, contributing to the overall success of the organization.

• Assist with instrument setups, trade bookings, reconciling trading activity, resolving trade breaks for multiple accounts
• Process daily wire requests and document signature requests
• Assist with various asset classes closings and lifecycle event processing
• Assist with account openings, system related setups, connectivity with administrators and other third parties
• Handle various KYC requests and audit inquires
• Support the month-end close, reconciliations and reporting
• Collaborate across internal teams, including the finance, compliance, analytics, software, legal, IR, and investment teams
• Collaborate externally with fund administrators, vendors and other service providers in the course of daily cash and position reconciliations, file processing, and process improvement
• Support adherence to internal controls and compliance protocols through rules maintenance
• Familiarity with various financial asset classes such as equities, fixed income, derivatives, and alternative investments.

• Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting, or a related field.
• Team player with the ability to take direction
• Strong organizational skills with an attention to detail
• An ability to multi-task & prioritize effectively
• Ability to work efficiently with minimum supervision
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Professional, calm, pleasant, and friendly demeanor

• At least 2 years experience required in a business environment
• Strong working knowledge of Excel, Bloomberg
• Experience in a hedge fund or financial firm preferred
