Financial Manager, Financial Analyst
The Role
We’re hiring our first Finance Manager—a foundational role for someone who wants to build the financial backbone of a fast-growing company from the ground up.
This isn’t a back-office job. You’ll be in the room where decisions get made: setting the metrics leadership trusts, shaping how we price and package our product, and helping us tell our story to investors. If you’ve ever wanted to see exactly how your work translates into company strategy, this is that role.
You’ll partner directly with the CEO and leadership team on everything from weekly forecasting to fundraising prep. You’ll own the numbers that matter—and have real influence over how we use them.
What You’ll Own Metrics & Analytics- Own all core SaaS metrics: ARR, MRR, churn, expansion, NRR, and unit economics
- Build the dashboards and reporting that leadership actually uses
- Surface insights that drive decisions, not just data that fills slides
- Own pricing analysis and optimization—packaging, discounts, renewals, expansion levers
- Manage customer contracts from a financial lens: pricing, terms, revenue recognition
- Ensure clean alignment between what we sell, what we bill, and what we report
- Build and maintain models for budgeting, forecasting, and scenario planning
- Own monthly close, financial statements, and cash flow tracking
- Manage vendor payments, expense controls, and day-to-day financial ops
- Partner with People Ops on payroll, benefits, and headcount planning
- Prepare board materials, investor updates, and fundraising decks with the CEO
- Coordinate with external bookkeeping/accounting partners to keep the books tight
- Design finance processes that work today and scale as we grow
- Create the infrastructure for a world-class finance function
- 5+ years in finance at a high-growth SaaS or technology company
- Deep SaaS fluency:
You dream in ARR, think in cohorts, and can explain NRR to anyone - Modeling chops:
You’ve built forecasts that shaped real business decisions—not just spreadsheets that lived in a folder - Contract-to-cash understanding:
You know how customer agreements translate into revenue recognition and reporting - Extreme attention to detail:
You take pride in numbers being right, not just close - Clear communicator:
You can explain the “so what” behind the metrics to non-finance teammates - High ownership, low ego:
You’re comfortable rolling up your sleeves in a fast-moving environment
- You’ve been an early finance hire at a Series A or B company before
- Experience preparing board decks and investor materials
- Hands-on with SaaS billing systems or ASC 606 revenue recognition
- Familiar with the stack:
Quick Books/Net Suite, Ramp, Gusto, Carta, or similar
This is one of the most important hires we’ll make this year. You’ll define how we measure success, how we think about growth, and how we communicate our progress to the people who matter. You’ll have a seat at the table from day one—and real ownership over what gets built.
If you want to shape the financial foundation of a company that’s scaling fast, we’d love to talk.
