We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Equity Analyst to join our investment team. The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of experience in equity research or investment analysis, with a strong understanding of global markets and financial modeling. This role involves conducting in-depth research, generating investment ideas, and supporting portfolio management decisions.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct fundamental analysis of publicly traded companies across various sectors
- Build and maintain detailed financial models and valuation frameworks
- Monitor market trends, macroeconomic indicators, and industry developments
- Prepare investment reports and present findings to senior management and stakeholders
- Collaborate with portfolio managers to support investment strategies
- Participate in earnings calls, investor briefings, and industry conferences
- Maintain coverage of assigned stocks and update recommendations as needed
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field (Master’s or CFA preferred)
- 3–5 years of experience in equity research, investment banking, or asset management
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with proficiency in Excel and financial modeling
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Japanese language proficiency is a plus but not required
- Experience working at a Japanese company and familiarity with Japanese business culture is a strong plus.
- Must be able to commute to the office location.
