Firm: Global Natural Resources & Trading Firm
OverviewOur client, a global integrated natural resources and trading company, is seeking a Tax Analyst to join its growing tax team. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands‑on tax professional to take on a dynamic role within a leading global organization, working closely with senior tax leaders.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and review U.S. federal (Forms 1120, 1120‑F) and state tax returns
- Support tax provision calculations under ASC 740
- Prepare Forms 5472 and other international reporting requirements
- Reporting to the Senior Tax Analyst and Tax Manager
- Assist with process improvements and support ad‑hoc tax projects
- 3+ years of corporate tax experience
- Experience with tax provisions (ASC 740)
- Experience preparing federal, state, and international tax filings, including Forms 5472 and 1120‑F.
- Detail‑oriented, analytical, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CPA‑track preferred
- Experience with in global or multinational organizations preferred

- On‑site schedule in NYC provides direct collaboration with a dynamic 8–10 person tax team
- Opportunity to contribute to process improvements and complex tax projects
- Base salary: $100,000 – $145,000 (commensurate with experience)
