The Portfolio Program Manager oversees the planning, execution, and monitoring of initiatives across investment portfolios. This role ensures that portfolio objectives are achieved, resources are allocated efficiently, and program performance is optimized.
The position involves collaboration with portfolio managers, investment teams, finance, and senior leadership to align strategies, monitor outcomes, and drive value creation across multiple investment programs.
Key ResponsibilitiesOversee and coordinate portfolio-level initiatives to ensure alignment with strategic objectives
Monitor portfolio performance, capital allocation, and program execution
Develop and maintain dashboards, reporting tools, and analytics for portfolio insights
Coordinate with internal teams and external partners, including fund managers, auditors, and legal counsel
Conduct risk assessments, performance reviews, and compliance monitoring across portfolios
Identify opportunities to optimize portfolio performance, enhance operational efficiency, and improve program outcomes
Prepare detailed reports, presentations, and updates for senior leadership and stakeholders
Ensure adherence to governance frameworks, internal policies, and regulatory requirements
Preferred QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field
Understanding of portfolio management, investment operations, or program management principles
Experience in portfolio oversight, investment program management, or capital allocation (preferred but not required)
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Proficiency in Excel; familiarity with PowerPoint, SQL, or portfolio management tools is a plus
Excellent written and verbal communication skills for reporting and stakeholder engagement
Ability to manage multiple initiatives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
