Role Overview

Product Solutions Analytics is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Analyst to join the Wealth Management Analytics team. In this role, the analyst will support multiple business areas, providing actionable insights to a wide range of internal stakeholders across the organization. In addition to delivering timely analyses, this analyst will also champion digital automation efforts, enabling real-time data access to support informed decision-making.

What

You’ll Do
  • Partner with members of the Wealth Management Solutions Leadership Teams to identify analytical needs, then design and deliver data-driven solutions
  • Utilize data mining, segmentation, and trend analysis techniques to uncover new strategic opportunities for the Product Solutions area, with a focus on driving Wealth Management business growth
  • Conduct complex, exploratory analyses requiring innovative framing, rigorous deep-dives, and application of statistical methods
  • Design, automate, and maintain dashboards using Tableau software
  • Monitor financial market developments and prepare a monthly performance and asset attribution analysis to assess business impacts
  • Develop materials that support investment/capital recommendations and communicate NYL’s wealth management strategy to internal stakeholders
  • Provide pricing and financial flow analysis (AUM, sales, redemptions, net flows) to support the annual business planning process
  • Maintain and expand Advisor behavioral studies to assess pricing impacts on fee income, profitability margins, and sales patterns
  • Serve as a key contributor in evaluating, structuring, and implementing strategic partnerships
  • Collaborate with analysts and data scientists across Product Solutions Analytics and other data and AI teams to leverage best practices and foster a data-driven decision-making culture
What You’ll Bring
  • Strong interest in investment management and supporting growth businesses aligned with NYL’s Core Foundational strategy
  • Demonstrated passion for data, with curiosity, problem-solving ability, and a proactive mindset
  • Highly autonomous, analytical, and innovative thinker with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in business intelligence, data analysis, wealth management, asset management, or a finance-related role
  • Proficiency in data querying (SQL)
  • Proficiency with business intelligence and visualization tools (Tableau) with proven ability to design, automate, and maintain dashboards
  • Expert-level Microsoft Excel skills, familiarity with VBA automation
  • Strong quantitative aptitude and ability to derive actionable insights from complex datasets
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills, with the ability to handle shifting priorities and multiple deliverables
  • Detail-oriented with a meticulous approach to data management, ensuring accuracy and integrity across all deliverables
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex findings for senior leadership
  • Preferred:
    Familiarity with programming languages such as Python or R for data manipulation and statistical analysis
  • Preferred and/or equivalent experience:
    Master’s degree (MBA or a quantitative discipline); candidates in possession of, actively pursuing, or interested in pursuing an advanced degree or relevant professional certifications (e.g., CFA, CAIA) are strongly considered
Pay Transparency

Salary Range: $83,600 – $130,000
