A leading middle-market investment bank may seek a Deal Flow Analyst – Banking to support deal origination, pipeline management, and transaction coordination across coverage and product teams. This role is ideal for candidates interested in tracking live deal activity, supporting business development efforts, and improving deal execution efficiency

Track and manage the end-to-end deal pipeline
, including pitches, mandates, live transactions, and closed deals

Support deal origination and business development efforts through research and pipeline analytics

Conduct company, industry, and market research to support deal flow and client targeting

Prepare pitch materials, teasers, and internal deal tracking reports

Analyze deal flow metrics, conversion rates, and pipeline trends to support strategic decision-making

Coordinate with bankers and execution teams to ensure smooth deal handoffs and workflow alignment

Maintain CRM systems and internal databases with accurate, up-to-date deal information

Support light financial analysis and valuation work for screening and prioritization purposes

Assist with client meeting preparation and follow-ups related to active and prospective deals

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Accounting, or a related field

Strong interest in investment banking, M&A, and transaction processes

Analytical mindset with the ability to manage and interpret deal pipeline data

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Ability to manage multiple deals and priorities in a fast-paced environment

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Prior internship or experience in investment banking, corporate finance, private equity, consulting, or related roles is a plus

Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, CRM platforms, and financial research tools (e.g., Capital IQ, Pitch Book, Fact Set)
