Overview

Join Barclays as a Vice President - Global Markets Client Onboarding. At Barclays, our vision is clear – to redefine the future of banking and help craft innovative solutions. The role focuses on driving improvements within the end-to-end Onboarding process through cycle time reductions, increasing scale of coverage and cross-selling, and improving client satisfaction, particularly for top-tier clients. You will act as a point of contact for clients and advocate through the Barclays infrastructure by partnering with Sales, KYC, Credit Risk, Legal, Operations and other internal teams to get clients “ready to trade”.

The role balances servicing existing clients with partnering with Sales and other business areas to drive opportunities for revenue growth, and drives process improvements with Technology to enhance automation, workflow, and transparency within the end-to-end process as part of Barclays tech agenda.

Responsibilities
  • Act as a critical point of contact for clients and advocate through Barclays infrastructure by partnering with Sales, KYC, Credit Risk, Legal, Operations and other internal teams towards getting clients “ready to trade”.
  • Servicing existing clients and partnering with Sales and other business areas to drive opportunities for revenue growth.
  • Drive process improvements toward goals and partner with Technology to enhance automation, workflow, and transparency within the end-to-end process.
  • Work with Liquid Financing clients to optimise the relationship, provide best-in-class service and escalation oversight, and serve as primary contact for trading, risk, billing and reporting.
  • Provide expertise on industry and regulatory initiatives and act as subject matter expert for clients with a deep understanding of each client’s business mix, operational requirements and product sensitivities.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Knowledge of end-to-end onboarding processes for Markets clients across a variety of journeys.
  • Experience in facilitating client onboarding and improving client satisfaction.
  • Understanding of the Markets trading business and financial products.
  • Ability to obtain and assess data across multiple internal and external sources and leverage that understanding to identify trends and drive meaningful change.
  • Operational risk awareness, controls, and governance frameworks.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, particularly with external clients and senior stakeholders.
  • Proactive relationship-building and stakeholder management.
  • Ability to influence, motivate, and coordinate teams across an organization with examples of driving change and delivery through others.
  • High attention to detail with multitasking capability.
  • Problem-solving mindset with the ability to address inquiries directly and collaboratively.
Additional Information
  • You may be assessed on key skills relevant for success in this role, such as risk and controls, change and transformation, business acumen, strategic thinking and digital/technology skills, as well as job-specific technical skills.
  • This role is located in our New York, NY office.
  • Salary range:
    Minimum $150,000 – Maximum $225,000. This includes base salary or base hourly rate and does not include other compensation or benefits that may be available.

Purpose of the role Liquid Finance Platform covers a variety of roles and is central to the delivery of best-in-class products and services, and for the provision of strategic client and risk solutions across the full spectrum of the Prime Financing businesses.
