FP&A - Associate

Overview

Our client is seeking a finance professional to support a large, multi-entity credit platform with billions in assets under management. This role is responsible for delivering financial analysis across the organization, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling. The position offers broad exposure to senior leadership and cross-functional teams, with opportunities to contribute to M&A activity, new fund launches, process improvements, and technology implementations as the platform continues to grow.

• Support the annual budgeting and forecasting process across a multi-entity credit platform, including revenue, expenses, and growth projections.
• Develop advanced financial models and ad-hoc analyses to support senior management decision-making.
• Analyze platform-level and fund-level profitability, including actual-to-budget variance analysis and ongoing P&L reporting.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to coordinate and manage the annual budgeting process and ongoing profitability reviews.
• Assist with financial modeling and analysis for potential M&A transactions, including evaluating target profitability and key financial metrics.
• Contribute to firm-wide initiatives focused on process improvement, automation, and technology-driven enhancements.
• Develop and maintain a strong understanding of multiple fund structures, including private and public vehicles, SMAs, and sub-advisory arrangements.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in financial planning and analysis.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including financial modeling, with strong analytical skills.
• Previous experience with financial planning and analysis software preferred.
• CPA, CFA, or equivalent certification preferred.
