AboutThe Role
In this supporting FP&A Manager position at Monks, you are a trusted finance expert supporting the NAMER CFO & Head of Commercial/Client Finance. You’ll support the senior Finance team with financial planning, budget management and payroll oversight. Your key goal as FP&A Manager will be to cleanly tie our actual & forecasted headcount and costs against revenue. You will create and maintain our internal models to help drive decision making for our client and business partners.
Our ideal candidate is a fast and flexible go-getter who jumps on new opportunities, with a natural aptitude for collaboration and a strong grounding in finance.
- Support annual budgeting, monthly forecasting and close to guide strategic and tactical decision making
- Conduct financial analysis, including revenue behavior, gross margin performance, cost control, and P&L analysis
- Lead and manage financial planning processes, including budgeting, forecasting, and monthly outlooks
- Analyze payroll and budgetary data to identify areas of opportunity or improvement
- Create and deliver clear management reports to enable data-driven decision-making
- Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to maintain financial health, strategy alignment, and effective resource planning
- Proactively identify potential risks and opportunities for cost savings or operational improvements
- Analyze information and deliver insights to make initiatives more efficient and effective
- Provide analysis of trends and forecasts and recommend actions for optimization
- Be a finance and operations system expert
We are looking for an individual who is self‑driven, a problem solver, and possesses excellent English written and verbal communication skills.
The essentials- 2-6 years of experience in FP&A or similar Finance/Accounting position
- Accounting/Finance degree with knowledge of accounting principles and applications
- Experience with the Professional services industry a plus (Agency, Consulting etc)
- Advanced knowledge of Excel/Google spreadsheets;
Tableau/Power
BI a plus - Self‑driven and able to complete month‑end tasks with minimal oversight
- Problem solver who can consistently think outside of the box to develop solutions to accounting/reporting challenges
- Excellent English written and verbal communication skills
