Assistant Controller, Fund Accounting & Operations Associate

Location: New York, NY

A New York–based investment firm is seeking a Fund Accounting & Operations professional to join its finance team. This role supports ongoing business growth and works closely with senior finance stakeholders across the organization.

Responsibilities include supporting fund accounting and operational processes, maintaining shadow books and records, assisting with expense allocations, and coordinating with third-party service providers such as fund administrators and prime brokers. The role also supports trade lifecycle activities, including allocations, settlements, and reconciliations, across a range of asset classes.

The ideal candidate will have several years of experience in fund accounting and operations within an investment management environment, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced setting. Experience supporting multi-asset or alternative investment strategies is preferred.
