We’re looking for an Investment Banking Associate – FIG, Insurance to:

• Develop pitch book presentations to explain industry trends, discuss client options, and recommend strategies to meet client goals
• Generate new ideas and creative approaches that push the business forward
• Identify and meet client needs, coordinating and working alongside senior colleagues and investors
• Create and analyze financial models
• Spot problems, generate options, and recommend solutions (you’re a contingency planner by nature)
• Manage and support the development of junior investment bankers

New York: the salary range for this role is $175,000 to $200,000.

We’ll be working in the FIG – Insurance team in New York. Our team is responsible for growing market share across the Insurance industry, fostering strong relationships across the market, and collaborating with teams across UBS globally. You’ll play an important role in advising clients on a range of market and strategic matters, including enhancing value for and growing the shareholder base, raising capital, and strategic advisory.

• Good understanding and hands‑on exposure to insurance‑focused investment banking, with more specific balance‑sheet insurance experience preferred
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in business administration or a related field
• Solid financial analysis skills, with the ability to produce accurate presentation material quickly
• Adaptable, able to seamlessly transition between multiple topic areas like software, semiconductors, and tech‑enabled services
• Driven and creative with exemplary integrity
