Location: New York

The primary purpose of this position is to provide direct support for the booking and settlement of collaterals by being proficient in the supporting systems, including GV Collat/COMET/DRACCAR, as well as front office systems such as Orchestrade, Murex FCO, and Helix. Responsibilities include reconciling portfolios in case of discrepancies and preparing MTM reports.

Main tasks of the team:

  • Margin call management
  • • Manage margin call notifications, confirmations, and bookings (in GVC) for Repos and OTC derivatives (in Comet) (NY time zone).
  • • Reconcile portfolios (Repo & Securities Lending) for margin call discrepancies.
  • • Coordinate bookings and payments/settlements with MOs and BOs.
  • • Monitor unsettled collateral flows.
  • • Investigate accounting discrepancies.
  • Control and reconciliations
  • • Conduct controls on margin calls, notices exchanged, amounts booked, and stock reconciliation on repos margins.
  • • Follow up on collateralized and non-collateralized counter party reconciliations, including EMIR OTC derivatives.
  • • Investigate significant MtM variations, with escalation when necessary.
  • • Set up or modify contracts in GVC/Draccar based on agreement terms for repos and derivatives.
  • • Prepare daily reports on discrepancies and disputes.
  • MtM Client
  • • Produce MTM client reports and other reports for NY time zone counter parties (daily, weekly, monthly).
  • • Follow up on DFA daily marks and new reports.
  • • Manage audit requests.
  • Projects, processes, and procedures
  • • Participate in project development, including UAT, with Paris teams.
  • • Maintain, improve, and develop activities.
  • • Formalize processes and document procedures.
  • Transverse activities
  • • Report activity metrics (KPIs, KRIs) internally and to regulatory authorities.
  • • Contribute to incident reporting and other processes.
  • • Support business development through input and analysis for NAP, UAT participation, and system upgrades.
  • Management and reporting are directed to the Head of Collateral Team. Key internal contacts include Legal, Back/MO Office, Front Office, MaM, Risks, and IT teams.
