Position OverviewLimited Partners support strategic capital allocation initiatives
, including manager selection, fund evaluation, and portfolio oversight. These roles involve analyzing external investment managers, assessing fund strategies, and supporting long-term portfolio construction and risk management decisions.
LP roles often involve collaboration with investment teams, operations, risk, legal, and senior leadership across institutional investment organizations.
Key Responsibilities- Evaluate external investment managers, funds, and strategic investment opportunities
- Build and review financial, performance, and portfolio analysis models
- Support due diligence efforts across financial, operational, governance, and risk areas
- Conduct industry research, asset class analysis, and market mapping
- Assist with portfolio construction, capital allocation, and rebalancing decisions
- Support manager monitoring, performance reporting, and re-underwriting processes
- Prepare investment summaries, reports, and analytical materials for senior leadership and investment committees
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Engineering, or a related discipline
- Understanding of investment analysis, portfolio construction, and asset allocation concepts
- Experience in asset management, institutional investing, investment consulting, private equity, venture capital, or fund-of-funds environments (preferred but not required)
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Clear written and verbal communication abilities
- Interest in capital markets, institutional investing, and portfolio strategy
