Day-to-Day Responsibilities Investment Screening & Initial Evaluation

Review inbound deal flow from bankers, intermediaries, founders, and proprietary sourcing

Conduct high-level financial and strategic assessments to determine investment fit

Analyze revenue models, margins, growth drivers, and scalability

Identify key risks, red flags, and value-creation opportunities early in the process

Financial & Analytical Support

Build or review light financial models
, return frameworks, and scenario analyses

Assess valuation expectations relative to market benchmarks

Analyze historical financials, KPIs, and unit economics at a screening level

Market & Industry Research

Conduct industry, competitive, and market landscape research

Evaluate sector attractiveness, secular trends, and competitive positioning

Support the development of concise investment theses for screened opportunities

Investment Committee & Deal Team Support

Prepare screening memos, summaries, and presentation materials

Clearly communicate recommendations on whether to advance or decline opportunities

Support senior team members in prioritizing deal flow and resource allocation

Process & Pipeline Management

Track deal flow activity, screening decisions, and follow-ups

Maintain CRM or pipeline tools to ensure visibility across opportunities

Coordinate with sourcing, diligence, and execution teams as deals progress

Education & Technical Skills

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field

Prior internships or experience in investment banking, private equity, consulting, transaction advisory, or corporate finance is beneficial

Demonstrated interest in investing, deal evaluation, or financial analysis
