Investor Intelligence Analysts support investment, strategy, and investor relations teams by transforming market, investor, and capital flow data into actionable insights. The role blends quantitative analysis, market research, and stakeholder reporting to improve understanding of investor behavior, preferences, and engagement across asset classes.
These roles often involve close collaboration with investment teams, fundraising professionals, investor relations, data science, and senior leadership.
Key Responsibilities- Analyze investor behavior, capital flows, and allocation trends across asset classes
- Monitor market sentiment, fundraising activity, and competitive positioning
- Build and maintain dashboards, reports, and analytics to track investor engagement and performance
- Support investor segmentation, targeting, and outreach strategies
- Conduct market, peer, and product-level analysis to inform strategic decisions
- Track performance metrics related to fundraising, investor retention, and capital deployment
- Identify trends, risks, and opportunities based on investor data and market signals
- Prepare regular and ad-hoc reports for investment, strategy, and investor relations teams
- Assist with presentation materials for internal stakeholders and external investors
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Statistics, Data Analytics, or a related field
- Strong understanding of financial markets, investment products, and investor dynamics
- Experience or coursework in investment analysis, investor relations, market research, or data analytics preferred
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills with high attention to detail
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with SQL, Python, or BI tools is a plus
- Ability to synthesize complex data into clear insights and narratives
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Strong interest in investor behavior, capital markets, and data-driven decision-making
