Mergers and Acquisitions Analyst

We are representing a New York–based insurance brokerage specializing in Representations & Warranties Insurance (RWI) for private equity and strategic M&A transactions. We are seeking a highly motivated RWI Analyst to support deal execution and underwriting across a broad range of transactions.

This role offers early exposure to private equity sponsors, M&A advisors, insurers, and legal counsel, and is ideal for candidates looking to build a career at the intersection of insurance and transactional finance.

• Support the placement of RWI policies for M&A transactions ranging from lower middle market to large-cap deals
• Assist in transaction analysis, including review of purchase agreements, diligence reports, and deal structures
• Prepare underwriting materials and coordinate submissions to insurers
• Participate in calls with private equity clients, legal counsel, and underwriters
• Track deal timelines and support negotiations of policy terms
• Conduct market research and maintain insurer relationships
• Support senior team members throughout the full deal lifecycle

• 6–12 months of M&A experience
• Strong understanding of M&A transaction processes and documentation
• Excellent analytical and attention-to-detail skills
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities
• Ability to manage multiple live transactions in a fast-paced environment
• High level of professionalism and client-facing maturity

• Exposure to private equity–backed transactions
