Salary Range: $150,000 to $175,000 +Bonus
An independent, full-service accounting and advisory firm specializing in tax, accounting, and consulting services for businesses and individuals is seeking to hire an experienced Tax Manager to join their team. This is a pivotal leadership role responsible for overseeing all aspects of tax compliance, planning, and accounting within the organization. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining compliance with tax laws and regulations, and implementing strategies to minimize tax liabilities while maximizing financial efficiency.

- Responsibilities for the Tax Manager will include preparing and reviewing a wide variety of tax returns, including high‑wealth individuals, fiduciary, corporate, partnership, and multistate filings.
- Performing competency across all phases of tax services: planning, compliance, preparation, review, and research.
- Applying strong technical knowledge of accounting and reporting standards when researching, completing, and reviewing complex tax matters.
- Identifying tax risk management issues and proposing practical solutions through research and collaboration with engagement Partners.
- Reviewing tax procedures and financial statements with minimal supervision.
- Monitoring team members to ensure questions are addressed and work is completed accurately.
- Managing and coordinating engagement workflow, including planning, execution, and wrap‑up.
- Communicating client issues, deadlines, and engagement status to Partners to ensure timeliness and quality of service.
- Supervising, training, and mentoring tax staff, fostering professional development and collaboration.
- Serving as a primary client interface, building and maintaining strong client relationships.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, CPA.
- HNW and/or Real Estate background (Preferred).
- 5-7 plus years of experience in a CPA firm.
- Able to work independently and within a team environment.
- Outstanding communication written and verbal skills.
- Experience using Ultra Tax CS, Checkpoint, Microsoft Office Suite and Intuit products (Preferred).
