A leading middle-market investment bank or multi-strategy financial firm may seek an Investment Banking & Asset Management Analyst to assist in deal execution, portfolio analysis, and investment research. Candidates in this role gain exposure to M&A advisory, capital markets, and asset management strategies, making it ideal for individuals pursuing careers that span investment banking, private equity, or asset management.

Support senior bankers and portfolio managers in evaluating investment opportunities across public and private markets

Build and maintain financial models, including 3-statement, DCF, LBO, and portfolio performance analysis

Conduct industry research, benchmarking, and valuation studies to support both transaction and asset management decisions

Assist in the preparation of pitch books, investment memoranda, and client or investor presentations

Support live M&A, capital raising, and restructuring engagements, as well as asset allocation and portfolio reporting

Collaborate with deal teams and portfolio managers to provide analytics and insights on investment performance

Maintain deal flow tracking, portfolio dashboards, and data room organization for transaction and asset management reporting

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Mathematics, or a related field

Strong skills in financial modeling, valuation techniques, and investment analysis

Excellent analytical, quantitative, and communication abilities

Ability to manage multiple work streams in a fast-paced environment

High attention to detail and strong organizational skills

Prior internship or full-time experience in investment banking, asset management, private equity, consulting, or corporate finance is beneficial

Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, portfolio analytics software, and financial research tools
