Location: New York, NY (Midtown), Hybrid 4 days in office
Compensation: $175,000 - $200,000 + Discretionary Bonus
The Opportunity:Architecting Global Fund raises
Join a premier global private markets adviser as a Senior Associate within our New York Advisory team. This is a high-visibility role designed for a sophisticated finance professional who thrives at the intersection of technical execution and senior client management.
As an Associate, you will be the "Engine Room" of the fundraising process, working directly with General Partners (GPs) to execute complex fund raises from inception to close. This is an elite opportunity to build your personal brand in the Private Equity ecosystem while leading a team of high-performing analysts.
Key Responsibilities Execution & Strategy- Deal Leadership: Lead the end-to-end execution of advisory fund raises, driving the creation of marketing materials and managing the entire fundraising lifecycle.
- Team Management: Direct the workflow of the Analyst team, overseeing project timelines, deadlines, and quality control for all deliverables.
- Strategic Input: Act as a key contributor to business growth, providing data‑driven strategic input to senior leadership.
- Origination Support: Identify target clients, lead due diligence efforts, and manage proprietary market databases.
- Primary Liaison: Serve as the main point of contact for clients on all operational and process‑related issues.
- Executive Presence: Attend and lead key segments of client meetings and conference calls, managing relationships with senior‑level stakeholders.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure "peerless execution" and high‑standard professionalism in every internal and external interaction.
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in Private Equity, Private Capital Fundraising, M&A, or Corporate Finance Advisory.
- Consultative Pedigree: Ideally 2+ years in a client‑facing advisory or consultative environment.
- Leadership: Proven experience managing or mentoring junior employees (Analyst level).
- Technical Excellence: Advanced command of Corporate Finance (P&L, Balance Sheets, Capital Structures) and expert‑level proficiency in Excel (modelling), PowerPoint, and Word.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written English; additional languages are a plus.
- The "Soft Skills": Socially confident, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to think on your feet under pressure.
