YourKey Responsibilities
- Reserving, actuarial opinion and regulatory services.
- Rate making analytics and services.
- Actuarial process redesign and software integration.
- Predictive analytics.
- Data visualization.
- Market strategy advice.
- Reinsurance analysis and advice.
- Ad hoc financial reporting advice.
- Build strong relationships with client personnel and consistently deliver high‑quality services.
- Monitor progress, manage risk, and ensure key stakeholders are kept informed about outcomes.
- Stay abreast of current business, regulatory and industry trends relevant to the client’s business.
- Demonstrate in‑depth technical actuarial expertise and professional knowledge.
- Exhibit strong business acumen and a commitment to continuous learning.
- Commit to developing a strong personal brand by staying informed on economic and market developments and their impact on the firm’s clients.
- Progress towards professional credentials from the Casualty Actuarial Society or other industry organizations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
- Approximately 3+ years of experience in an actuarial position.
- Associate of the Casualty Actuarial Society (ACAS) or actively pursuing Associateship with a minimum of 5 actuarial exams passed.
- 2 years of experience with Excel, SAS, VBA, and/or C++.
- Strong writing, presentation, conceptual, analytical, and interpersonal skills as evidenced by preparing and presenting results and findings to clients or senior management.
- Ability to understand and persuade on complex subjects both in writing and verbally.
- Experience working in a team environment on project‑based work.
- 2 years of experience with R, Python, or other relevant programming languages.
- Previous consulting experience or experience implementing new processes/procedures in a corporate environment.
- Intellectually curious people with a clear passion for actuarial work.
- Great communication skills and flexibility in the face of rapidly changing projects.
We offer a competitive compensation package based on performance and recognition. The base salary range in the US ranges from $110,500 to $202,700, with higher ranges for major metros. Additional information is available upon request.
