We are seeking highly motivated Murex Front Office Trading Consultants based in New York with good knowledge and experience in Fixed Income to work in a client-servicing role supporting one of our client’s global system implementations. As a Trading Consultant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Front Office trading systems used by our cash equity trading desk. Your responsibilities include:

  • Analyzing business processes and functional requirements, performing gap analysis to drive the delivery of relevant user requirements documentation.
  • Collaborating with technology teams to design and implement enhancements to trading systems.
  • Working with users to test, achieve sign-off (UAT), and support system go-live.
  • Providing day-to-day support to Front Office traders, addressing queries and issues related to trading systems.

Requirements:

  • Master's or Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Quantitative Finance, Applied Finance, Business Analysis, Financial Engineering, Computer Science, or relevant discipline.
  • Experience with Murex Front Office (Pricing, Simulation, Pretrade).
  • Functional experience on at least 2 asset classes, e.g., FX, MM, FIX, IRD.
  • Experience in implementing or supporting a Front Office system within a bank.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and provide high-quality service.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to handle priorities, and manage expectations.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
