About The Company
Our client is a multi-billion dollar private equity firm that invests in media and entertainment businesses. The Director of Finance will assist with the execution of the financial operations for the firm.
Responsibilities
- Oversee fund management, financial planning and analysis, financial reporting, credit agreement compliance, tax planning and reporting, cash and treasury internal risk controls, and related regulatory and compliance guidelines and principles.
- Assist with the preparation and reporting of quarterly and annual financial reports across all managed funds.
- Review work with the third-party fund administrator for all financial statements, capital calls, distributions, and tax reporting.
- Assist with the firm’s portfolio company valuation processes on a quarterly basis and ensure compliance with GAAP.
- Assist with capital structure planning activities and review and provide analysis of capital plans.
- Work with corporate counsel to update legal processes for fundraising.
- Create and maintain fund, portfolio, and investor dashboards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required.
- 10-12 years of private equity experience.
- CPA preferred.
- Experience with in the Big 4 public accounting firms.
- Knowledge of GAAP and relevant regulations.
Salary Range
$200,000-$225,000
