Financial Assistant to CEO

A fast‑paced, high‑growth organization is looking for a trustworthy and detail‑oriented Financial Assistant to provide both professional and personal financial support to the CEO. This hands‑on, hybrid role is ideal for someone who thrives in an entrepreneurial environment, can juggle multiple responsibilities with precision, and handles confidential matters with complete discretion.

What You’ll Be Doing:
  • Record, categorize, and reconcile financial transactions
  • Monitor and manage bank and credit card accounts
  • Process invoices, payments, and expense reimbursements
  • Oversee accounts payable/receivable
  • Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
  • Assist with tax documentation and liaise with external accountants
  • Act as a point of contact for banks, accountants, and service providers
  • Track and manage recurring personal expenses (utilities, insurance, subscriptions, etc.)
  • Organize financial documents and maintain up‑to‑date records
  • Ensure timely bill payments and monitor deadlines (tax filings, renewals, policy reviews)
  • Resolve urgent or time‑sensitive financial issues (flexibility required for occasional after‑hours needs)
What You Bring:
  • 3+ years of experience in bookkeeping, finance, or accounting support
  • Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office
  • Strong understanding of financial reports and accounting basics
  • High attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Absolute discretion and professionalism when handling sensitive information
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

  • Experience supporting high‑net‑worth individuals or family offices
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Flexibility in working hours to handle occasional urgent financial requests
