Loan Operations Specialist

We are supporting a large hedge fund that is launching three new CLO vehicles and are currently seeking experienced candidates for Loan Operations and CLO roles. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in loan processing, settlements, and Clearpar, with a focus on global loan processing.

Responsibilities:

• Process bank loan-related transactions across portfolio management and related systems, including transfers, CLO & middle market closings, crosses, CTP, and terminations.
• Perform daily confirmation of Bank Loan trades, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded.
• Compare details of loan trades against systems to ensure booking accuracy and verify details for bond, repo, and FX trades for CLO and Private Funds.
• Monitor and resolve trade-related cash/position breaks using dashboard tools.
• Provide fund administrators with settlement packages and related documentation, including Credit Agreements and other necessary information.
• Track loan amendments and process restructures in systems, maintaining communication with both internal and external stakeholders.
• Update and reconcile loan prices between systems, ensuring missing marks are backfilled and revolver and delayed draws are mapped correctly.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in Loan Processing, Credit Operations, or Funds Administration.
• Strong understanding of global loan processing, particularly syndicated loans.
• Proficient in loan settlements and Clearpar, with a focus on CLO operations.
• Experience with portfolio management systems and trade reconciliation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to resolve trade-related discrepancies.
• Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
