Convertible Bonds - Portfolio Manager

We are representing a highly regarded fixed income and credit hedge fund seeking an experienced convertible bond portfolio manager to join their exceptional investment team. The role will be focused on the US convertible bond markets, with responsibility for idea generation, portfolio construction, and risk management within a research-driven investment platform. Our client has grown exceptionally well and has ambitious plans to continue growing across regions and strategies.

• Construct and manage a US focused convertible bond portfolio across primary and secondary markets
• Deploy capital across convertible arbitrage, relative value, and selective directional strategies
• Generate investment ideas through fundamental analysis, valuation, and capital structure work
• Evaluate new issues and ECM opportunities
• Manage risk across structures, and instruments

• Seasoned professional with strong background in portfolio management or trading convertible bonds on the buy side or sell side
• Track record across US converts space, with additional European or APAC market exposure welcome
• Strong understanding of IG, HY, and special situations converts, including pricing and hedging
• Portfolio management seat within a highly respected, top-performing, research-driven platform
• Broad autonomy with strong research, analytics and trading platform
