Premier Asset Manager seeking Real Asset Investment Associates to join its growing Alternatives Department!
Role OverviewThe Real Asset Investment Associate helps support a growing portfolio of real asset investments. This role is a good fit for someone with early experience in real estate, infrastructure, or agriculture investing who enjoys research, analysis, and working with data.
You’ll work closely with senior team members, help track investment performance, support new investment reviews, and contribute to research and reporting across the portfolio.
What You’ll Do- Help prepare monthly and quarterly reports that track how investments are performing.
- Conduct research on real assets and broader economic trends and summarize findings for senior leaders.
- Support the review of potential investments, including real asset commingled funds.
- Join meetings and, when needed, site visits with investment managers to learn about their strategies and assets.
- Work with internal teams to support investment-related processes.
- Assist with ESG-related tracking and reporting across the portfolio.
- Communicate regularly with colleagues in other regions.
- Take on additional tasks and projects as needed.
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in finance, real estate, or a related field.
- 2–4 years of experience in real asset investing, investment management, or a related role.
- Basic understanding of financial concepts and investment performance.
- Comfortable working with senior professionals in meetings and presentations.
- Strong Excel skills; experience with financial models and reporting tools.
- Experience with Power BI is helpful but not required.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and willing to learn.
- Team-oriented, flexible, and able to adapt to change.
