Location: New York

Overview

A leading global real estate investment firm is seeking a skilled Real Estate Investment Associate to join its team. The firm manages diverse real estate strategies for institutional investors and operates independently within a larger diversified asset management platform.

Base pay range: $110,000/yr - $140,000/yr. This range is provided by Coda Search│Staffing. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more.

What You’ll Do
  • Build and maintain cash flow models using Excel and Argus.
  • Conduct thorough due diligence on new investments, including financials, leases, environmental reports, and market research.
  • Prepare investment memoranda and present findings to internal committees.
  • Monitor and analyze portfolio performance and create reporting for clients.
  • Support financing, dispositions, and special projects as needed.
  • Allocate part of your time to asset management, portfolio oversight, and research.
What We’re Looking For
  • Bachelor’s degree in real estate, finance, or related field (advanced degree a plus).
  • 3–4 years of relevant experience in real estate investment or asset management.
  • Strong financial modeling and analysis skills; proficiency in Excel and Argus required.
  • Experience underwriting commercial and residential assets; development experience preferred.
  • Proven ability to deliver actionable insights, make sound recommendations, and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication, writing, and interpersonal skills with high integrity.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently with tight deadlines.
