Capital Markets Associate - Global Real Estate Fund

Our client, a global real estate fund is seeking a Capital Markets Associate to join their team in New York, NY. This is an opportunity to join a high-volume, execution-focused capital markets team. This group focuses on executing real estate financing initiatives, optimizing capital structures, and coordinating financing activity across a large global real estate platform. Coverage includes a range of capital markets products such as secured and unsecured financings, securitizations, public debt and equity transactions, and interest rate and currency hedging.

• Assist with debt structuring and placement for US real estate assets
• Prepare underwriting packages, lender marketing materials, and financing analyses
• Support end-to-end transaction execution and develop the skillset to run financing processes more independently over time
• Monitor market conditions and provide timely updates on credit terms, pricing comps, and broader debt capital markets trends
• Maintain loan and portfolio datasets/reporting to support decision-making and financing strategy
• Help manage and build relationships with lenders and other real estate capital providers

• 2-4 years of capital markets experience financing real estate transactions
• Experience in real estate credit underwriting and loan asset management
• Significant work experience building financial models using Excel and/or ARGUS
• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting or related field required.
• Strong communication skills and comfort working cross-functionally on a global team
• High integrity, excellent interpersonal skills and intellectual curiosity
