Responsibilities
- Publish proprietary equity research in designated industry with stock recommendations (Buy, Hold, Sell) to institutional buy‑side clients.
- Conduct due diligence and provide industry expertise for capital markets equity transactions.
- Initiate C‑suite corporate access resources to institutional equity clients.
- Conduct independent industry assessments and company‑specific research reports.
- Engage with corporate client relationships at the highest C‑level.
- Work closely with senior analyst and supervisory analysts in the research production and publication process.
- Conduct research at macro, industry and individual company levels.
- Build financial models, including market share forecasts, revenue, EPS and cash‑flow forecasts at the company level.
- Perform financial and valuation analyses, formulate investment ideas and write draft research commentary.
- Collaborate with Capital Markets, sales and trading to leverage research products into the institutional client base.
- Maintain active dialogue with representatives of covered companies.
- Work closely with institutional buy‑side clients to help leverage the research product when appropriate.
Required Qualifications
- BA/BS degree.
- SIE, Series 63, Series 87 and Series 86 (or Series 7 for those licensed prior to October 2019) or a FINRA waiver.
- Minimum 4 years of related work experience.
- Mastery of financial and accounting concepts for creating in‑depth financial models.
- Advanced written and oral communication skills and team‑oriented ability.
- Strong analytical and sales skills.
- Proven ability to work well in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Working toward CFA designation.
- Additional 4+ years of related experience.
Annual base salary: $160,000.
