Responsibilities- Encourage and mentor CTG associates and senior associates.
- Develop and teach training courses to enhance CTG employees.
- Understand and adhere to risk management guidelines, engagement review memo procedures, and conflict checks.
- Manage engagement risk and potential client or engagement issues, including conflicts.
- Propose creative solutions to engagement and transaction risks.
- Coordinate with Directors, Senior Directors, and Managing Directors to set engagement codes and other engagement requirements.
- Prioritize, manage, and execute engagements and responsibilities.
- Assist engagement executives in maximizing client value and monitoring engagement leverage.
- Lead financial due diligence work, including quality of earnings, working capital, debt, and other operational and financial analytics.
- Compile discussion agendas, hold conversations with clients and stakeholders, identify transaction risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
- Research technical accounting subjects relevant to CTG.
- Develop financial databooks (Excel) and coordinate with all A&M service groups and functional areas.
- Delegate work to associates and senior associates, review and develop their work.
- Generate financial due diligence reports, integrating findings from other practice areas.
- Minimum of 5 years of financial accounting due diligence experience or equivalent at a top accounting firm.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting or related major.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent certification.
- Working knowledge of US GAAP, SEC reporting, and purchase accounting.
- High proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and database skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong project management skills.
- Flexibility to work collaboratively as a team member and as an individual contributor.
- Ability to travel for project needs and A&M specific opportunities.
- Ability to thrive and be effective in fast‑paced settings.
Base salary $160,000 annually, discretionary bonus program based on individual and firm performance, 401(k) retirement savings plan with company match, comprehensive healthcare plans, flexible spending accounts, life insurance, AD&D, disability coverage, paid time off (vacation, personal days, sick time, federal holidays, floating holiday), and parental leave.
