Overview
A fast-growing, multi-strategy investment manager based in Manhattan, NY is seeking a sharp, detail-oriented accounting and operations professional to join its finance team. This hybrid role is ideal for someone with public accounting or fund experience who is eager to transition into a lean, high-impact environment with broad exposure across finance, operations, legal & compliance, and investor relations. The individual will work closely with both the Controller and CFO, while engaging directly with prime brokers, custodians, and third-party administrators.

- Support daily trade activity: entry, settlement, reconciliation, and reporting.
- Assist with monthly close process and investor reporting.
- Work on internal reporting: performance, valuation, and risk metrics.
- Support audit and tax prep (1099s, K-1s) alongside external providers.
- Own data integrity across systems, from trade data to financials.
- Manage fee and expense tracking (fund-level and employee-level).
- Contribute to regulatory filings: ADV, Form PF, FATCA, and others.
- Undergraduate degree; CPA strongly preferred.
- 2-5 years of experience in public accounting, fund audit, or buy-side accounting.
- Experience with credit products is a plus.
- Proficiency in Excel required;
Bloomberg knowledge a bonus.
