An elite international law firm is seeking a Junior to Mid-level Investment Funds Associate (2–5 years PQE) to join its growing Investment Funds practice. This role offers the opportunity to work with fund managers and institutional investors across diverse asset classes including private equity, private credit, venture capital, real estate, and infrastructure.
About The TeamThe team advises on structuring, fundraising, and operating investment funds, while helping clients navigate complex regulatory and compliance matters. With a truly global platform, the group offers the chance to collaborate across jurisdictions and practice areas.
Key Responsibilities- Draft and negotiate private investment fund documents and side letters
- Advise institutional investors on fund terms and ancillary agreements
- Support clients on fundraising, structuring, and compliance matters
- Collaborate across global offices on cross‑border fund issues
- 2–5 years of relevant investment funds experience at a top law firm
- Strong background in fund structuring, Regulation D, Advisers Act, and related compliance
- Experience representing fund managers and/or institutional investors
- Strong drafting, negotiation, and communication skills
- Admission in NY, IL, or DC (or eligibility to waive in)
- Salary: $225,000 – $365,000 (DOE & location)
- Bonus eligible
